The university residence of Nuestra Senora de los Remedios offers two types of facilities: those pertaining to the residence itself, in which daily life takes place – areas of personal use and communal areas; and those within the Colegio de Doncellas Nobles, which has an incomparable historic and artistic value.
Rooms
|
These can be individual, double or triple. Each room was originally built to accommodate 6 people, therefore they are very spacious – from 20 to 60 square metres.
All rooms are en suite, have in-built wardrobes, study desks with above-desk lighting, shelving and Wi-Fi. They are very well lit and heated and are so very welcoming. The rooms are distributed over three floors around an interior patio. A lift has been installed which accesses each floor. |
In each room there is a small kitchenette, which residents can use to cook if they wish. These kitchenettes have a fridge, microwave, cooker, cupboards in which food can be kept. There is also a dumbwaiter to the kitchen, which can be very useful when a resident cannot join everyone else at the usual mealtime, and needs to eat at a different time in the kitchenette.
Communal Areas
Within the area of the Residence, there are various communal areas which enhance the life of the residence and facilitate study. Within these, there are two study rooms, a library, two sitting rooms with television, a computer room, a dining room, a small lecture hall, a patio area, a terrace overlooking the city, two visitors rooms, a music room and a ‘recreational area’ with a table-tennis table, ideal for dance classes, Pilates… |

Historic and artistic area
|
This is the oldest area of the building, and it is maintained thanks to an agreement between the Archbishopric of Toledo and the National Heritage. It is a luxury which few have the chance of having as their residence. The surroundings which our residents have are difficult to describe. Therefore, we offer you some photographs. |
